Mockup

Design

We had two main concerns in when we designed our app :

How does it work ?

Agenda : the diary is set up using a relative's cell phone. the relative can therefore fill in the elderly person's diary to remind him or her to take certain important medicines, as well as the various visits planned or even birthdays not to be missed.

Finances : the elderly person can check his various bank accounts without having to enter his identifiers and codes each time: in fact, even before logging on, he can directly see the money in his account, his last expenditure and the telephone number of his bank advisor.

This is once again very easy. EasyTech is expected to replace the homepages of classical smartphones, such as iPhone or Samsung. It is then thought like a add-on tool that everyone can download from the stores. On the bottom of every page, we added a simple "back - next" button to help users pass on every page as they need. This creates fluidity, and make their phone a kind of path to follow every morning. So, the experience is very limited : turn your phone on, click on the button you want access to, and click on the right arrow to swith from one service another. In each page, some possibilities/actions are offered, like "Facebook", or "call emergency", with a simple tactile touch to activate it.

Communication: the idea is to fight against social isolation and therefore to allow the elderly to communicate with their loved ones. So we have gathered social networks / emails and messaging on one page.

Health: the health aspect occupies a central place in the application: an "sos" button is present at the bottom of all pages. The health page allows the elderly person to better manage and understand their various medical appointments and all their medical data is stored, such as blood type, which could be very useful if they have an accident.

Inspirations

Big Launcher : It is our main inspirations, that was first designed for both elders and visually impaired people. Is a simple, basic and naive home page for smartphone. Much of the reviews on the app store and play store were positive, so that we thought their example was good base to build on.

Phonotto : A complementary project that has focused on the easy-to-use aspect. It helped us not to forget that we should construct a streamlined product without any complexity that is not thought on purpose.

Papoti : It is like an social network designed for families to maintain the link between grandparents and grandchildren. Basically, sharing pictures, messages or vocals is easier than in basic apps. Papoti made us believe that our scope was something our targets could really need, all the more now that covid has appeared and reduced the social link between people. We hope that EasyTech will find its place between these three previous projects!
